About

JA Horse Company LLC

Our Facility

Providing equine opportunities to the community for over 5 decades

Originally known as "Pegasus Stables" owned by Jerry Eichorn back in 1971, Jerry built this farm from the ground up, turning it into a turn-key horse facility. Jerry specialized in his Arabian breeding and training program until meeting his wife Marlene Eichorn and they switched disciplines and dove head first into AQHA Quarter Horses and western pleasure riding. Eichorn's were very successful in their training program and continue to show locally today!

The farm exchanged hands and names a couple times after that, known as "Hidden Pines Equestrian Center" and "Swan River Pastures Horse Ranch" before becoming our "JA Horse Company"

Jerry and Marlene Eichorn still have a few horses here and are a knowledgeable and helpful asset to the farm. We are forever grateful for our relationship and the opportunity they gave us to own such an incredible facility!

Our Story

A girl and a goal

Alex Beach has been riding horses only since about 12 years of age. Quickly, horses overcame her life and she knew what kind of lifestyle she wanted to live. Alex met some incredible people who believed in her and supported her in any way they could. Alex was a two time graduate of the Minnesota Horse Training Academy - getting her certification (Thanks Cowboy Bob) and continuing to train horses professionally for years after that. While working full time at a local juvenile correction facility, Alex also started her first business venture of training horses. During that time she was riding 8-10 horses a day and was the onsite barn manager for a local boarding facility. Alex never stopped learning and continuing her education along the way.

While living that life, Alex met her husband Jacob Beach in 2017. They bought their first home in 2018, got married in 2019 and shortly after hatched the idea to start JA Horse Company in their backyard. They had the goal in mind to purchase more land and start offering boarding and training on a larger scale. In the spring of 2020 everything fell into place and by June 2020  they had purchased their dream property to properly launch the business. Alex's passion for horses and Jacob's passion for the farm lifestyle has made the perfect combination to run this farm successfully. They both strive to never stop improving the farm and always maintain a clean, professional, and fun atmosphere for all to enjoy. In June of 2021 they welcomed a new addition to their family, their daughter Maggie and in March of 2023 their second daughter Miley completed the family.

JA Horse Company is also is registered with the MN Department of Agriculture.
